This ensemble of highly skilled Twin Cities’ musicians brings Romanian melodies to audiences. Featuring Katrina Mundinger on taragot, they primarily play tunes from the Banat region of the country, but also have learned several pan-Romanian tunes as well as a few Transylvanian melodies. Musicians are: Sydney Lefevre (violin), Matt Miller (bass), Natalie Nowytski (vocals), Jim Parker (kontra and guitar), Eric Ray (accordion), and Jenny Schultz (cimbalom).

Katrina Mundinger is a fiscal year 2015 recipient of an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature; and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
